One of the trials so many of us seem to go through in this life is the test of patience. We watch as those around us progress, while we ourselves are seemingly left behind. I have watched as my peers have finished bachelor’s and master’s degrees, paired off, married, and now are having their third and fourth children. I have yet to create anything of eternal worth. It is sometimes difficult to understand why. Why, however, is not the right question. What we must ask ourselves is whether we have the faith to trust in the Lord and in His timing. If we do our best with what we have been given and wait upon the Lord to instill even greater blessings, we can find happiness now, no matter our circumstances.
