Whimsical Angels with Sun Chasing Away Darkness Giclée Print
This giclée is printed on Somerset Velvet archival artist paper, a lightly textured warm white 100% cotton paper, with Canon Lucia pigment inks. It is guaranteed not to fade for at least 100 years. The print is sold unframed with a 1/2" white border for framing ease.
"Clad in Everlasting Day" was inspired by the hymn, "Truth Eternal" by Parley P. Pratt. In the hymn it says, “Truth shall triumph as the light chases far the misty night. Endless ages own its sway, Clad in everlasting day.” In the painting four angelic figures representing different aspects of creation—the waters, the sun, the forests, and fruits and flowers—repel the night, replacing it with glorious gospel light. I believe that each person has a divine mandate to help in spreading forth the kingdom of heaven, and each has been given unique gifts to do so. Whether we are more like the waves or more like a pomegranate tree, we all have something all our own to contribute that combined will dispel the darkness surrounding us.
