  • This giclée is printed on Moab Entrada Rag Natural archival artist paper, a 100% cotton smooth fine art paper, with Canon Lucia pigment inks. It is guaranteed not to fade for at least 100 years. The print is sold unframed with a 1/2" white border for framing ease.

  • This painting is inspired by Paul’s writing in 1 Corinthians 13:12, “For now we see through a glass darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part, but then shall I know even as also I am known.” We do not get to see the whole picture. Much of our future and our past is kept hidden from us. While at first this may be disappointing, our blindness helps us to develop faith in God. We must trust that the Lord knows who we are and what we need to experience. When I am discouraged by unforeseen turns in the road, I can remember that while I may not fully understand now, God knows and in time will reveal His purposes to me.

This scripture has recently garnered more meaning for me as I’ve been struggling with diminished eyesight. Now I literally see through a glass darkly, yet it will not always be that way. One day I will again see. All I can do today is the best I can with the sight I have. As I choose to exercise faith in Christ and consistently yield to the whisperings of the Spirit, the Lord will bless me with peace now and clarity someday.
